At the beginning of the first year, I really had trouble transitioning. During the first half of the quarter, I made a set of school assignments. But after the evaluation, it became clear to me that I had to change the way I worked or else I wouldn’t survive school at Willem the Kooning.
At the beginning of the first year, I really had trouble transitioning. During the first half of the quarter, I made a set of school assignments. But after the evaluation, it became clear to me that I had to change the way I worked or else I wouldn’t survive school at Willem the Kooning.
Evolution works the same way. In the process of existing species mutate. If a mutation improves the living conditions, it will survive, flourish and continue the mutation in its young ones. I designed my book to be symbolic of that concept. The first half of the book is the old me and the way I worked. The second half the reader sees my mutation, the changes that occurred to me and my work process to better suit the environment to become a better designer.
